My wife and myself attended a couples cookery course at The Arches cookery school which was was an excellent experience with plenty of learning and hands on prep/cooking of the recipes. We made three courses with accompaniments, Lamb Provençal with puy lentils, Breaded chicken (no fry) with wasabi potatoes and courgette slaw, and Strawberry shortcake. All dishes we made were very tasty and taken home. The course started with coffee and cake and an overview of the following 4hrs procedures then all the dishes were demonstrated and cooked with instructions and explanations so that we could produce the dishes over the next 3 hours ourselves. The dishes were produced by ourselves with lots of hints, tips and help if needed from Sarah our host/trainer then they were boxed up to take home. We then had an excellent lunch prepared by Sarah consisting of the menu we had just prepared by Sarah. We have already booked the next course (Chinese Banquet) and are looking forward to another great day.

Came for children's cooking spooky Halloween baking - Fun, full of laughs and we learnt so much in a couple of hours - if you would like to learn some amazing cookery skills in a professional but farm country feeling with a superstar like Sarah this is the place. We had a fantastic lunch and cracking cup of T, thank you ladies. The children and I had so much fun - thank you so much ! We rebooked there and then for Christmas.

I attended a class at the Arches cookery school, and thoroughly enjoyed the day, the setting was perfect, the class was so much fun and I learned so much.. I would highly recommend going to Arches Cookery School for an enjoyable day of learning about amazing food.

Excellent 4 hour session. Learned masses and came away with loads of food! Wonderful setting, fully equipped station, great host.

It was ok, but not good value for money in my opinion. The teacher was patronising and talked about herself a lot. The food we made was very nice tho.
